I'm pretty sure I've seen sea-pigs on both US coasts, in Socal and near Daytona beach. They usually wear skimpy bathing suits and their gender is nearly impossible to determine.
Do not attempt to befriend a sea-pig, they bite! those teeth look comical, but they are quite sharp.

I'm up. I've been up since three this morning. Didn't wake up with my back this time, go figure; hubby stole all the blankets instead.
Since I was up, I decided to write. And now I'm outlining the weirdest story I think I've ever written, a mix between William Gibson and Shirley Jackson. Bizarre, no?
