Had a rough morning in moose rapids this morning before noon since i couldnt find any woodpecker balls and they haven't had any for several weeks now and the woodpeckers say they are getting hungry but I did get some more turkey seeds so they will be happy and so will the squirrels and maybe the bluejays when they are not too busy stealing turkey seeds or working on the woodpecker balls that i cant seem to find so they might get mad too unless i find some which i might not do until i get to maine and bring some back with me as long as the border gards dont ban woodpecker balls which i don't think they do so ill be able to bring them back to near moose rapids with me and hang the balls in a sack before i go out and see if the hunters havent ruinated my sap line when i get back because

The bluejays do WHAT to the woodpeckers' balls?

Porter, if a hunter messes with your sap, can you shoot them? I mean, they're cutting into your money and that's a dirty thing to do.

Ted i can shoot anyone i want to whether he messes with my sap or not because the woods are big and not many people go aroung digging holes off of the trail in them and but I am a person who has been to viet nam and knows better ways and i have friends who would do almost anything for a small bottle of maple syrup which i do not sell especially when it was a bad year like last year was and i hope next year isnt so i probably would not shoot such a person very hard because.

however ted, i will shoot anyone who messes with my sap!
