There's a couple in our church in their 80's and they still hold hands pretty much all through Mass.

Unfortunately it's a matter of interpretation by the outside inspectors - can't fire them. The agency they inspect for has recently decided to "reinterpret" the standard. But since the stricter interpretation went into effect prior to our inspection "window", we have to correct it.
