I've just printed off my latest MS for a paper-read through pass of edits, and it literally just this second occurred to me that this is the third novel I've completed this year.

That isn't bad going, is it? I mean, novel #1 was technically a huge re-write for a R&R, but I still completed it this year!

I decided this year (about three split seconds after said R&R call) that this is what I want to do with my life. I just got my head down and made the most of this fire in my belly.

I think, including my two and a half trunked novels, I'm well on my way to writing my first million words, which is something I want to achieve before I'm 30, so three years of finger-mashing to go!

That's some amazing work. For many of us, (myself included), getting our butts in the chair to even write one novel is an insurmountable task. And here you are cranking out three. Go go go!

Awesome! That's definitely inspiring. I think it's a safe bet that in three years you'll be posting here that you wrote one million words before 30.

Thanks all :) A funny thing happened today. I was re-drafting my latest WIP, got to the end, and realised that I hadn't actually written an ending?! I think I was going for open ended and through provoking.... yeah, I didn't quite pull that off! Now the final chapter is written, it's much stronger!

Always learning, eh!

very little sleep, a schedule (not so much word count for me, but set hours dedicated each day except weekends) a mountain of flash cards, stationary, and Evernote. Honestly, the amount of times I've bolted up in the night and wrote something down on my phone !

3 novels in a year is really good, congrats. Hope you get an agent.
