Gadriel (sp?) was ejected, I recall the scene at a bar, with Metatron looking on. Gadriel's vessel pauses and says "Yes." right before he's Gadriel again.

Or am I mixing up episodes?

Perhaps because she's not a love interest for any regular character? It seems that the ones who get ganked soonest are the ones who snog the boys. Even Bobby's wife and ex-partner (the one with Excalibur) lasted only one ep each.

Lisa and the art dealer from the "Provenance" ep are the only ones who kissed a Winchester and didn't get slaughtered, AFAIK.

Oh, yeah. I forgot.

ETA: Trying to remember them all.

For Dean--women who had a speaking part:
--The girl whose father and all her father's friends got run over by the phantom pickup. I think he simply left her at the end of that ep.
--Lisa
--Anna
--Jo
--The former Casa Erotica star who temporarily got religion
--________
--________

For Sam:
--Jessica
--The "Provenance" art dealer
--The preacher's daughter in the "Hook Man" ep
--The original Meg (did they ever snog?)
--Ruby
--That woman with the child--the one who Sam let go but Dean came back and ganked.

Destiel's starting to look more and more like a viable possibility. Not only is Cas not female, he doesn't stay dead. Always a good trait to have when you're in a relationship with a Winchester.

Charlie should be safe because she's gay and therefore no threat to the boys' relationship.

Yep. :D

ETA:

Tessa got offed in 9's finale or the ep before that, right? Becky, who switched from Chuck to Sam, got written out after the forced wedding ep, IIRC.

It's not just Sam and Dean. Castiel has proven himself an honorary Winchester:

Rachel, Cas's second-in-command from season 6: killed by Cas himself later that same episode.

Naomi - offed by Metatron

Anna - friends with both Cas and Dean. Never had a chance, poor girl.

Meg - offed by Crowley

And whatever happened to Cas's "wife," the woman who fished him out of the reservoir? No reference to her whatsoever once Cas got his memory back. Hope she's not waiting up for him.

And wasn't there a female werewolf who had a meaningful relationship with Sam (read: sex) before she got all wolfed out? Didn't they wind up killing her or something?

I have to say I really do hate that they kill off the women. Now, granted, they kill off plenty of men, too, but it feels like it's more women because the show doesn't have a regular cast member who is female.

I really liked some of the "love interests" especially when they showed them as more than love interests. Jo was so much better once they didn't define her solely around Dean, for example.

I get that the show is about the boys. I appreciate that and I love that part of it. The thing is you don't have to kill everyone to hammer home that point.
