Game: How well do you know your characters? (MTS edition)

I enjoyed this when we played it over in the SFF forum, and I'm pretty sure the YA version that predated it is still going strong.

Simple format. I ask a question; you answer based on your main characters, and pose a question for the next person. Anyone is free to answer, even if they're not writing MTS, but try to keep questions in the real world so those who are can join in (so not too many questions like "what would happen if your MC was bitten by a werewolf").

First question to kick us off!

What's your character's favourite alcoholic drink?

Lydia has some... issues, so she honestly can't see herself being anything but dead in five years.

If the bad guy gets his way, everyone will be dead in five days, so five years gives him some breathing room. :evil

Since I'm playing as Greg here - his dad. Their relationship has not always been harmonious, but in retrospect Greg can see that his dad was always constant, always present, and always encouraged Greg to pursue his dreams, even if they were different from his dad's dreams.

Plus he forgives people. Greg has some...issues with that.

My main character, Rick Killing, isn't much a drinker, but favors Captain Morgan when he does and he is a football guy through and through. His favorite band is Afghan Whigs (from a novel set in 1999.)

What was the saddest moment in your characters life?

Hmm. If I answer that one for my current WIP I'll give away a major plot point, so I'll CHEAT LIKE A CHEATY CHEATER and answer it from my first book! Ha!

Sel's saddest moment was when she almost got a young police constable killed in the line of duty. She authorised an anti-drugs operation without planning it properly, and it haunts her every day.

Well... Kevin is very much a down-range thinker, always planning everything two steps ahead. But, that doesn't mean he can't roll with it when he needs to.

Hmmm. My character doesn't drive, so I'll let someone else cover the car thing!
