You got it, Lightning!

wins speed award! :e2woo:

O'Henry peaches = popular yellow freestones. (Note that an apostrophe is used, not a period as in the author's name.)
Peaches & Herb = vocal duo

This is a tough one. There's something called Dolly Parton's Imagination Library that sends books to kids, and maybe there's a connection, but I don't know what it is. :e2bouncey

Okay, I'll give it one more try. Your items seem to have little in common. However, Lincoln and Kennedy are both assassinated Presidents, and Parton and Diamond collaborated on a song called "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'," which includes the words "gone, gone. gone." The two Presidents are gone.

(If this is not right, I give up.) :alienzapped:

(I've forgotten the rules of this game. If the number of letters is needed, the number for this one is 5...sort of.)

No,not office. Bruce Springsteen would never be caught dead in an office! (Unless he went there to pick up one of his zillion-dollar paychecks in person, of course). ;)

Ding ding ding ding ding! That's correct!

Bruce Springsteen - nicknamed "The Boss"

Michael Scott - the boss on the sitcom, "The Office"

Mr. Slate - Fred Flintstone's boss

William Marcy Tweed - 19th century New York City politician nicknamed "Boss Tweed", often cited as an example of corruption in big-city government
