I haven't had any braggage lately, but my mom has! Here's a link to my post in the Animals and Nature thread about the 35k non-fiction book my 95-year old mom had published earlier this year. (I was a second marriage kid, so not quite as old as this makes me sound )
I read that post. What a great story, Eliza! So happy for your mom.
After winning the previous Shock Totem flash fiction contest, I learned today that I won this month's as well! Surreal. It's been an eerily quiet May, so that good news was welcomed.
I'm pleased to announce my story "Burning Men," has been released today by Penumbra for their H. G. Wells themed issue. I just checked out my contributor's copy and it looks great!
Wow, I was just on this thread two days ago, and look how much braggage has already been posted since then! That's great! (Melinda, I enjoyed Blooming Hedgehog.)
This one's a bit different than some of what I write, but I had a piece accepted you can check out at Hobo Pancakes that I didn't think would ever find a home. Mostly because it's sodomy humor. Certainly not erotica, just adult subject matter.
This would be my first W1S1 that's been accepted, with editing help from a fellow AWer JoBird. It made for a pretty awesome day.
