Forecast here for later this week is also calling for snow.

I'm blaming all of you.

All your fault.

*looks cross*

Well, it's only a 40% chance and it's still too warm for it to really stick, so you're forgiven for now.

And if you can make it snow for Christmas, all will be forgiven.

Although...

You think you can make it snow hard enough so I can't go in to work tomorrow? Because I could embrace that.

:D

It would have to snow up to eight feet here, and even then I'd probably still be expected to go to work.

It's cold here. brrr

I came really, really close to hitting the ground when I had my ears pierced when I was a teenager - spinning tunnel vision, everyone sounding really far away... Blood sugar reaction thing to needles. I had a nice margarita before I had my belly button done a few years ago and was fine.

:)

I went to a shop in the mall to have my ears pierced when I was a teenager. They had a new gun and it got stuck. It wouldn't pierce all the way through, but it wouldn't release either. They ripped my earlobe pretty bad trying to get it out. It got infected, closed up, and every since then I've been alergic to metal. So...no more piercings.

Nothing ever shuts down here, not even the schools. Except maybe the college classes, but not regular school. I'm up in the Panhandle, there's nothing to block the storms when they roll in so we get a pounding, from rain, snow, sleet, and mostly wind. Winters get pretty nasty here.

The cold makes me less sleepy, I can't sleep if I'm cold.

I might have to get the electric blanket out soon. Not too bad so far, but I can feel the freezing coming. It was in the 20's last night and my stupid car wouldn't start today for work, boss had to come pick me up. :/

My services don't come cheaply. Come on out to the van and we'll talk.

I learned something today. I've been really upset at the lack of stories my region has when I compare myself to somebody like Joe Lansdale. But in truth, I realize now we do have stories, they're just really ugly and show a very sad side to life. In fact, the stories I do know seem to remind of the Faulkner's South--full of decay and corruption of all kinds. It does give me something to use.

I said something similar a few months ago after watching the evening news.

I don't write horror. I write about monsters. Horror is in the headlines.

Also, if you're going for Faulkneresque fiction, it's a perfect excuse to drink.

God knows he did.

I only want it on weekends, Ted.

And on school break.

And...can I choose location, too? Or...

Because, if so, I'd like it on:
The grass.
The roof.
Not the roads.
Not the cars.

Do we get priority if we get these requests in early like this? :D

I'm going to get my but whooped - when I tell you that it's going to be 79 here all week for the high. 40s-50s in the mornings. :/

And yes, I have the sweatshirts and heated blankets out, because I am cold. :( sorry.
