Child of Fire was good, but it could have done with an extra chapter or an epilogue to wrap things up properly.

Now reading The Day of the Jackal by Fredrick Forsyth. Finding the writing style very dry so far.

Just finished Hounded by Kevin Hearne. I've been trying other urban fantasies, while I wait for the next Jim Butcher novel. I haven't found anything worthy until now. I really enjoyed this book, and the Celtic mythology. I don't know enough about Celtic mythology to know if it's factual or not, but since this is fantasy, it works for me.

This is an author, who is newly published in 2011. They published his first three novels in the series.

I ran right out and picked up the next one, Hexed, today.

The Rook, by Daniel O'Malley.

O'Malley has accomplished the nearly-impossible by making me love a memory-loss/amnesia story.

Child of God - Cormac McCarthy

Murders, sparse poetic prose, necrophilia. Who could ask for more?

TAFT 2012 by Jason Heller. Great so far but I feel the need to wear a giant mustache while reading it. Maybe I'll make that part of the giveaway requirements. ;) [reviewing for Quirk]

I want to love this book. It has the potential for me to love it. I am trying, Mr Welsh.

Bram Stoker's Dracula. Almost 200 pages in and I absolutely love it. Every time I put it down I want to pick it back up again.

Song of the Nile by Stephanie Dray. It is the second in a trilogy (the third is not out yet). Loved the first one, and this one is just as good.

I've finished Flesh Eaters, clearing the decks for me to read Wrong Side of Dead by Kelly Medding. I love this series!
