Not long ago, I watched the movie, Mercy, and what interested me more than the witchcraft and the demigods was the concept of the Death Wolf. I've been trying to look up more information on the mythology, but I've been finding nothing.

What I'm wondering is if anyone else has heard of this monster or if they made it up just for the movie?

Wolves have always been associated with death, but I've never encountered the concept of a Death Wolf like this anywhere in mythology.

Good writers make things like this up all the time. It's the "creative" part of writing, and I love it when something great like this pops out of a writer's imagination.
