I bought a frozen dutch apple pie for Thanksgiving, we never ended up needing it and it's sat in my freezer for months...I should eat that up before it goes bad, if it hasn't already.

I already had a bet that I won with my bf. It was that I would be published before he sold a song. I sooooo won. But he did just film a role for a short movie yesterday...so that is also cool, I guess, if you are into that not writerly type of stuff.

Syd, I'd love to work in movies one day. I can't act, but something in the way of directing or producing would be cool. Somehow I think the only way I'd be able to break into the industry would be via writing, and I want to write anyway, so yeah.

I'm with ya. I'd rather do anything that has to do with writing then try and act. I freak out for him before each audition.

My parents used to send me along to a drama group when I was a kid. We did pantomimes and stuff and I used to enjoy it, but I think I lost that somewhere along the way. I'm not sure how I'd start acting anything now.

Apart from the fool, of course.

A few years ago they changed a law in my state to allow people to make use of "roadkill." It was actually meant to allow people to make use of any deer that were hit (which happens a lot here, especially in the rural counties). It gains some national attention as the "roadkill bill" since it sort of sounded like people were saying it was okay to eat dead possums and other critters found on the roadside.

Hmmm, I am sort of hungry. Some fried possum might be tasty.
