I'm hoping that by the end of the week, I'll be up for the come-from-behind-to-win-NaNo award, and I'm on track to do it, too!

This week saw a whopping 23,205 words added to my NaNo novel. Go me!

Dang, Yeshanu, that's smokin'. You're on your way.

Wrote six TB client articles on collector coins this week for a total of 3,900 words. And 43 pages edited on Screamcatcher, starting my third pass on this manuscript after having received about 10 rejections, but got really pertinent comments on some problem areas.

A Dog of War released
:snoopy::snoopy::snoopy:

congrats, and esp on the release - it is a great book and you should be proud.

for me:
for the week: 18,347

4 blog posts

I validated my NaNo win, even tho it's only the 26th and i'm not done writing - but the certificate doesn't specify wordcount, I mean, a win is a win is a win.

Keep truckin' everybody!

I'm hoping that tomorrow or the next day I can join bettielee and my elfchild in the winner's circle. 11K to go!

Nanner time!

I hereby dedicate this NaNo win to my dearest darlingest Ally, who nagged, cajoled, emailed, NaNo mailed, phoned, and fed me to 51,000 plus words. Without you, this novel, such as it is, would not exist. (((Hugs)))

Total for week: 17081

After years and years of trying NaNo and failing, I'm psychotically ecstatic to say that I. Freaking. WON. this time.

Total words this week: 9,212.

My NaNo win came on Wednesday night, totaling 50,061 words. I have never loved a number so bloody much! :D

5 blog posts! Good start for me on the whole blogging thing, but knowing me this schedule will only last until about wednesday. (3500)
1500 words on the rewrite of Tomok. Not going well. I hate rewriting.
1500 words of other stuff.

I have a serious question for you, my weekend updaters. Do you want to keep the update thread going next year? I know we've lost quite a few updaters this year. I'm all for keeping it going, what do you say?

I know I've been out more than I've been in, but I'd feel lost if I didn't have this thread to come home to. And I know Ally needs it too.

*peeks in*

But of course we keep the update thread. Maybe what we do is go out and do a little marketing to build up the victim member count here.

*sneaks back out*

Maybe if it got started outside of the humour forum, since we are open to non humour folks? Might get us a few people. But like Yeshanu said - It's so valuable to us that are here. I'd be lost without it.
