I've tried several times and can't seem to change my user title. I've gone into Edit Details and typed in a new one, but after I hit Save Changes, nothing has changed. Any tips?

I'm not sure if this could be a cookie issue or not (AW uses several cookies). You could try logging off and clearing out your cookies and then trying again.

I'm not trying to be offensive, but are you sure you're typing it in the right box?

Pretty sure I'm typing it in the right box. Apparently I was able to do this ages ago (years), so I could figure it out then. Maybe it's a cookies issue. I'm very ignorant about those sorts of things. I will try clearing the cache. (Is that the term? :) )

I don't know that it is a cookies issue, but if you're typing it in the right box and hitting Save then I'm not sure what else it could be.

Thank you so much for that! I just logged out and cleared out absolutewrite cookies using instructions I found about clearing cookies, but it still didn't work. I will check out your link and try again. Weird!

If you still can't get it to work let us know. There could be some kind of glitch I suppose. One of the administrators can change it for you if you can't.

You might also try this. In the Custom User Title field, select the little Reset button at the top right and then Save and see what happens. Don't try to add your own title. Just see if it then go back to the default title.

OK, I cleared my cookies again, but this time I followed Medi's instructions and completely closed my web browser which I didn't do the first time. And it still didn't work. This is weird.

I will try the reset button. Sorry to bother!

It's not a bother. If you're having a problem we need to figure it out.

Let me kick it upstairs to the administrators.

What title did you want?
