I've never heard of Count Duckula, but it might have been after my time as a kid.

Did you ever see Sky King in reruns in England? It was actually shown sometimes in the 1950s but they used to show it on Saturday morning during the kiddie show time. A friend and I always mocked it because it was so silly (an airplane pilot who chases bad guys); then, years later, I read a book by Bill Bryson (or was it Stephen King?) and he is mocking it too. "The bad guys had to linger about the end of whatever landing strip was handy and wait for Sky King to land, taxi the plane to a stop, then have Sky get out and yell, 'Stop right there!'"

That was in a Bill Bryson book. Not sure which one. :)

The Thunderbolt Kid, I think.

There were quite a few TV shows they did in the 50s that were pretty simplistic; they later came back in reruns as kiddie shows.

Highway Patrol was another one that was almost a goof.

I remember Count Chocula.

I remember wanting Count Chocula, but we were too poor and my mom always bought Puffed Wheat.

I HATE puffed wheat....and grape jelly. Just cause it was like 5 cents cheaper than strawberry!!

Puffed Wheat? That was almost as bad as Shredded Wheat.

It was, like exploded bits of wheat balls covered with sugar.

I vaguely remember it. Shredded Wheat was like eating a Brillo pad.

I ate cereal as a kid, but I probably only have it a few times a year now. Mostly just corn flakes.

I'm sure you were. I couldn't read back through everything I missed, but the posts I scanned over clearly looked like you were behaving...but then again, I really didn't read them that good. :p
