Divinity: Original sin

While I wait for Dragon Age, this is what has been occupying me for the last few days. It's just plain awesome.

• It is a CRPG!
• It is turn-based in combat, but real time out of combat
• It is fricking huge
• It is party based with up to four in the party
• It makes me whimper with nostalgic pleasure for games like the first Fallouts and Baldur's Gade etc.
• It is beautiful
• It's hard!
• Did I say it's massive?

Have you lot heard of it? Played it? Loved it and caressed it, and read bed-time stories to it before sleep?

I haven't finished this yet, and I'm still having loads of fun with it. Like I said, it's hard. But I don't mind. It's refreshing how little hand-holding there is. And, a tip, if you do pick it up - do believe the guards when they are sceptical about you going out into the wider game world. They're experienced people, and can spot a rube from a mile away, and will tell the truth that you're not ready. ^^
