If I were a person with food based allergies, all of these would be scary. But the listeria and salmonella ones are scary enough.

What is wrong with these manufacturers?

I'm not even sure I know anymore...
Website
lmashton.com
I am a person with food-based allergies, and many many many many many of them. I don't buy prepared foods very often specifically because in no country that I'm aware of do all ingredients have to be listed. Spices can be summarized as "spices" without breaking down their component parts, for example. I have severe allergies to cloves, star anise, and cinnamon, so that just would not ever work for me. So, no.

Cross-contamination issues are a whole other kettle of fish and there's absolutely nothing I can do about that when we're talking about bags of, say, cumin or coriander that may be contaminated with cloves.
