Agorism FTW!
What do you expect when their whole industry is based on fake currency and they're well-protected by politicians who hand them billions when they screw up because they're "too big to fail?"

Banksters are the poster children for moral hazard. Why should they be honest when they get amply rewarded for being crooks?

When the politicians needed to "save the economy," the banksters got the breaks, not the mortgagees who had overpaid trillions for real estate thanks to easy-money policies that had people buying homes they had no hope of ever paying off.

Imagine if for every dollar of bailouts the banks had gotten, they'd had to forgive a dollar of mortgagee debt. Were the politicians just too dumb to think of that idea? Srsly?

Their hubris is reinforced by a central banking system that claims it can control the economy and has been handing out billions in rewards for the last several years in the guise of "quantitative easing." Of course they think themselves better than mere mortals and above the law; that message is reinforced on a regular basis.

I don't remember them being more scrupulous when they were held back with what you have determined as "real" currency. So you are going to have to provide evidence to your claim.

They weren't any more scrupulous then. Even then they got TPTB to allow them to commit the fraud of loaning money they didn't have by legalizing "fractional reserve" banking. They've been buying politicians for as long as there have been politicians to be bought.

They just have more ways to get away with their crimes given the current economic and political climate.

So the claim is then frivolous and immaterial? Just decoration to your posts that since you have nothing to contribute, you stock up on the clichés?
