Not indulging Billy's drunkenness (I'll be out guzzling liquors later tonight).

I'm a socially liberal, fiscally moderate/conservative independent on the fence regarding capitalism vs. some form of socialism. I'm all for freedom but with social/moral responsibilities.

I'm a Libertarian leaning Conservative, who believes in free trade, capitalism, and keeping my nose out of the world's business.

Pity it's not a public poll. I'd know who to add to the dissident list.

Kansas! Again.
Liberal, Moderate, Libertarian, Socialist (quasi) and Isolationist.

A note on the socialism; I believe that a certain socialistic aspect is required for any society to run well. Capitalism is running strong, and I believe capitalism is required too--but without a backbone of socialism, the free market fosters as much despotism as the purist strain of communism ever has.

No, that's only the order in which they appear. I'm actually a conservative liberal :D

These days, it's better to think outside the box. Since I've never been on the inside, I find it remarkably easy. That's why I'm Unique - get it?

Moderate Republican with Libertarian leanings, but I'll vote for a Democrat or Independent if s/he reflects my views. Strong, activist conservative on fiscal spending and 2nd Amendment rights, equally strong liberal on 1st, 4th and 14th Amendment rights. Sadly, there aren't many candidates that fit all my preferences, so I have to pick and choose every election which is the lesser of the evils.

Oddly, I'm both an isolationist (wanting to keep our collective American noses out of others' business) but also partially a socialist (wanting to give safe haven when the others' business goes awry). I'm for EITHER opening up the flood gates on immigration without regard to race, creed, color or national origin, with no check-in point, OR closing up the borders tight, with a Great Wall of America. The gates (IMO) should only open wide if people are allowed to FAIL, and fail utterly. With our social system as inept as it is, to allow people in for minimum wage, but require care of children at a higher rate, we've doomed the system.

So far, I'm liking Guliani, but Obama is a strong second (just to show you how mixed up I am! )
