Greetings and salutations!

I just joined this lovely group. I'm sort of new to this author thing, though I've had two travel books published at Tirgearr Publishing. Now I've written four (yes, four!) novels. I'm eagerly awaiting with the speed of frozen molasses the decision of my publisher on my first two novels.

The first is based on a true story - my parents' love story.

'After being apart for thirty years, and brought together by a daughter he never knew he had, her father and mother married for the first time in the Starship Enterprise in Las Vegas. '

My second novel is the first in a series. Historical fiction, starting in 19th century Ohio and moving to Ireland. The third novel (second in the series - this gets confusing!) is the prequel to that, set entirely in Ireland. The fourth, (just finished first draft Friday) is the prequel to the previous book.

Whew!

Now for mundane things:
I am married, no children, 45, living in south central PA. I moved here recently for a job. I lived most of my life in Florida (south Florida and Gainesville) though lived in Michigan until I was 10.

T Robinson, my secret is that I don't have children - and I'm a workaholic. I believe that relaxing is creating. Also, I do my best writing during my lunch hour at work.

That is a bit eerie!

I'm just someone who has long believed that time spent doing nothing or learning nothing is precious life time wasted I multitask at home in the evenings - my best part of relaxation. Watching TV, beading, while playing a game on the computer (turn based with others on the internet - bead between turns).

No, actually, though I've always wanted to. No, I'm a CPA, working for a stone and lime company. I have traveled to the British Isles 8 times, though - it's my passion and my addiction!
