Not where you last saw me.
It depends on what the food is "best" for. So I considered "best" in how much I enjoy it: I was torn between chocolate and bacon. Went with chocolate because a day without chocolate is unbearable. :D

Is ice cream dairy? If so I sooo lurves (((dairy))). Can Iz select that 2X's in teh poll ? Chocolate too. In syrupy form. Poured on liberally. And don't forget the cool whip. What would life be w/o cool whip – and chocolate sprinkles too. Oooh oooh. Sooo yum yum yummy :p

Ice cream is dairy, and so is cheese. Milk chocolate could also be counted as dairy if you subscribe to my logic. I don't know if that would be good or bad. Chocolate ice cream is definitely dairy, and Godiva made awesome ice cream.

MEAT!!! So says I--the carnivore. Teehee! Even my coworkers know it's not unusual for me to eat a pork chop for breakfast, or part of a steak for my last break of the day. :)

I keep going back and trying to vote, but...

vegetable=salad
fruit=fruit cup
carbs=bread basket
meat=filet mignon, wrapped in...
bacon
dairy=cheese tray
chocolate=mousse

You think you're presenting choices--but I just see one hell of a dinner!

You're missing the Big Four everybody learns about once they live on their own:

  • fast
  • frozen
  • junk
  • spoiled
And I had to go with meat. While bacon is fine, if not perfect, you have a wider choice under "meat". You have your cow group, your chicken group, your duck group, your rest-of-the-pig group, your turkey group, and the myriad variations within.

Living without cheese would be impossible for me; though bacon, meat and chocolate all came close.

I didn't see one for wine either ...

Meat.

I could eat meat all day long. Always. I was so excited in the USA when I saw that there's diners who offer steak for breakfast :D

People always go on about 'the greatest invention since sliced bread' but really, nothing tops what preceded it: meat on a stick. Greatest invention ever.
