Counting down the days . . .
Only two days left. Even if you haven't written anything yet there is still time; use one day to come up with an idea and write a rough draft, the second day to polish and edit.

It's getting closer and I've gone from being excited about reading the entries (which I did several times, even after voting) to being excited to see if my favorites will win!
There's also an element, for me, of trying to guess what will appeal to other people. Like, I know my favorites and what appealed to me and what was the best quality IMO, but can I see in other stories what other people might see that might make them vote for those stories even though I didn't?

Sadly a mix of my current condition, family matters and everything else has meant I totally mistook the deadline for entries. A pity, as I had a great entry lined up... should I wait for the contest to be over, or could I post my 'entry' in SYW?
Are you posting it in SYW for feedback? If you didn't enter, there's no reason why you couldn't do that.
