I've got sharpies if anyone needs to label boxes!!

In the meantime, I'll be in the corner, working on a "scared of the thunderstorm" story, having a chocolate chip and cheese sandwich, with Ed Sheeran's "I See Fire" playing in indefinite repeat.

I think I'm going to have some interesting dreams when I finally get to sleep tonight.

Good morning Hounds. I haven't been round here for a while. Hope everyone is well.

I've finished the novella in draft (32400 words), revised three short stories and I've started back on my YA novel, doing through the 21k words I've written so far before writing new words. However, my own writing may take a back seat for a while, because of...

This weekend is going to be dominated by one horror-related thing. I have a review copy of the DVD release Video Nasties: The Definitive Guide Part 2, with (gulp) thirteen hours of content. I'm watching it as I type this and Alan Jones has just talked about Dead Kids (aka Strange Behavior) and Kim Newman is discussing Death Weekend, two films I have actually seen. I even hired the latter out on video back in the day.

Also, I have a fairly hefty horror anthology to read before the end of the month, as part of my British Fantasy Award jury duties, copy arrived a couple of days ago. Better get started then!

*snaps a pic of Soapy and ponders adding it to those websites of kids and sharpies and what they managed to do with them*

*adds pic to life hack websites, instead*

Today I was given some stuff called Hurricane Tape. It's the most wonderful stuff I have found in a while. It doesn't rip or tear, so you have to cut it. It's extremely strong, woven tape. Vastly better than duct tape.

When my local NAPA store gets it, I'm gonna buy a roll to keep in the van. I'm in love.

But yeah, I'm sure if I use enough, no harm would come to you in the move.

What about tropical, underwater laboratory? Where we could safely release our monstrosities in relative obscurity without being noticed. Then we have warm, tropical, and no mosquito's.

I like the sounds of that.

Well, the underwater part. The sharks with lasers underwater seems like a bad combo if we all want to stay dry.

And breathing.
