Good morning house of puns

In that case all they had to do was run for Congress. Or a school board.

:D

The pun'll come out
Tomorrow
Bet your bottom dollar
That tomorrow
There'll be puns!
Just thinkin' about
Tomorrow
Clears away the cobwebs,
And the sorrow
'Til there's none!
When I'm stuck with a day
That's gray,
And lonely,
I just stick out my chin
And grin,
And say,
Oh
The pun'll come out
Tomorrow
So ya gotta hang on
Tïll tomorrow
Come what may
Tomorrow!
Tomorrow!
I love ya
Tomorrow!
You're always
A day
A way!

You're looking peachy there, AC.

BTW, has anyone here read 'Best Seller', by Alessandro Gallenzi? I've just finished it and I found it the most entertaining book I've read in years.

Susie, have you tried audiobooks? Some people who have excellent eyesight prefer to listen rather than read. Not me though.

*needs moar books*

I just finished Spooner by Pete Dexter, the best book I've read in a long long time. Currently reading an AWer's book, Fade to Black by Francis Knight. Liking it! But nearly finished.

*needs moar books*

I just finished Dan Brown's latest, which was ridiculous, but still very enjoyable!

I'm thinking about trying something new soon. Anybody got anything coming out? I like Kings and I like Halls, so if there are any suggestions and stuff...

I started reading Down Under by Bill Bryson, but I don't know that I'll finished it.

It starts out by discussing the prime minister of Australia who disappeared (drown?) back in the sixties. "Who loses a prime minister?"

I read that back whenever it was it first came out. I remember it being quite amusing. Cliff wasn't mentioned, though.

The exact centre of all of existence
Yeah, I quite liked that book, despite the absence of myself from the text.

And AC, yes, a prime minister went swimming in the ocean and was never seen again. Harold Holt I believe...

I have heard that Australia is a net importer of fish. If you just looked at a map of the world with Australia setting there surrounded by the ocean you would think it would be the last country in the world to need to import fish.

Hmm.

Item: Australia "loses" a prime minister in the sea

Item: Biden does not like to swim (check this)

Item: Australia, surrounded by the ocean, is a net importer of fish.

I sense a conspiracy here.

I don't think Biden could keep his mouth shut long enough to swim far.
