If you want an invitation to Google+ just send me your email address. I won't keep it and spam it because I'm too damn lazy.

ha ha i noticed a lot of that happening on twitter when the invites first came out. i made a big mistake on Google+ yesterday and started playing the games! No!!!

I tried twice to play a game yesterday (I keep hearing about Angry Birds on the iPhone/iPad), it was asking permission to look at others in my circles or some shit, and I kept clicking no.

Maybe I should create a "Ben Nospam Bradley" account to try out the games.

No, because then Google's asinine "real names" policy will screw you over when they decide to block access and delete all your accounts.

Google+ is one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, but somehow their name got garbled in the translations.

Is that what those annoying pop ups were when I was staring intently at angry birds? I didn't notice it until I turned the popup blocker off but even then it was just a blank screen for me.

It is weird following someone on G+ with a real name when they never go by it online.

@Cheyanne I used http://gplus.to/

Is it possible to join without giving them your phone number? I tried a day or two ago, set up a new google account and it refused to let me go further until I verified my account using either my home or mobile number.

I refuse to give my telephone number to companies - I've had far too many problems with unsolicited spam calls in the past.

I've picked up a bunch (one or two dozen, maybe) followers in the last week or so, maybe because they opened it up to anyone a few weeks ago.

I didn't give any phone number, but it's tied to my gmail email account that I've had for years now, since THAT was invite-only. But I joined in I think July when you still had to get an invite from someone else, and they've since let 'anyone' join, so maybe they require that now with new signups. That sucks if they do.

I joined in back in BETA, but I no longer see any purpose to use it. All my friends are already on Facebook and Google+ offers nothing particularly unique that would make us want to transfer over.

Nonetheless, I do like the simplicity of dragging friends into various circles. Wish Facebook had that simplicity (even their new system is pretty confusing).

it's interesting. Facebook now has the subscribe option (like following), and has the lists (like circles). But since it's more discreet you can't find it in your face like on Google+, but either way, hopefully G+ will find it's audience.
