Canadian Conferences

Hope I didn't miss a thread already made on this.

Anyways, I was hoping to find out about some writing conferences in Canada, particularly in the summer as I'm a student, so other times of the year aren't out of the question, but have a much lower priority.

I am already aware of the Ontario Writers' Conference and might be going on it this year.

What genre do you write? Most conferences are genre themed. Though not the Ontario Writers' Conference which is fantastic and I highly recommend, so good choice!

Oops, I write fantasy.

Yes, the Ontario Writer's Conference is looking good though this prairie boy has to figure out big city traffic and how in the world to get to Ajax. It's probably way easier than I realise.

Surrey Writers Festival in Surrey, BC is great. It's usually held in October.

So I keep hearing. It's a potential, but I am looking more for something in the summer. Attendance to Surrey entirely relies on not getting any midterms or essays slotted in with a due date during it.
