Ouch, that has got to hurt. :(

I've had a strange day. Part good, part not so good.

I need some wine.

Hello, lovely Pubbers. I have done house chores and now work beckons, but all I really want to do is curl up with a book.

So! Coffee on the house! :D

:ty:, Sara. Are you one of the golden oldies with whom we can chat? :applause: Hit the jackpot, didn't I?

I warmed up yesterdays coffee, brewed some fresh for the princess to sip reading her Sunday newspaper upstairs. Meantime, I'll whip up a breakfast tray for her. Yes, I have Snap-on™, Craftsman™, and Crescent™ tattoos. :D

Then, I'm free to edit.

Stumbling when I walk zombie like in doorway while yawning. Very busy weekend, and sort of glad to get back to a normal day. Setting up the coffee and tea bar with cookies and pasteries before taking a mug of coffee and a cookie. Looking at my checklist and checking off setup bar, have a grocery list of things to do "after" work. Sigh and sits down to start my day over again. Everyone have a great Monday.:Sun:

For the record, tonight's drink of choice is chocolate milk.

And there's nothing else in it but milk and chocolate syrup.

Honest.

*Opens the door and walks in.*

Morning all! Did you know someone vandalized the front of the pub? There's gold spraypaint all over the sign.

*Drops newspaper on the bar and turns on the coffee maker. Leans against the bar, opens the newspaper, and waits for the brewing to finish.*

Slainte - pronunciation: Slan-CHA

If that's not quite clear: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZMBvqosoGI
Hey, I learned a new Gaelic word!

Now my repertoire of memorized Gaelic phrases is as follows:

-Slainte
-Pog mo thoin

Hello all newcomers and thanks to everyone who welcomed me!
Afraid I can't stay--just hopped in for a quick Car Bomb shot to put a little hair on my chest for the day's rollickin' adventures awaiting me in the real world.
But here's a toast to all of you:
...
...
...Cheers!
(I'm trying to keep it clean, here.)
Keep your chins up and, "don't take any guff from these swine."

Here, here! And welcome!

*Takes a sip and returns to his paper.*

I know what it says above the door, but honestly, I've never been entirely comfortable with that term.

I'm getting used to being the oldest on my block.

Speaking of drinking--and particularly "pasteurized" above your avatar--the term was one of the first deaf jokes I ever heard saw:

ASL :deaf: for milk is to squeeze the hand as if milking a cow. The joke is to ask, What-this? and make the sign for milk while passing your grasping hand across the upper part of your face.

The answer is milk-past-your-eyes.

Yeah, I know it's lame

, but I was in first grade and thought I was one of the Marx brothers.
