I am off a little early to continue to clean...and go buy more food to feed the inlaws.

Me, Scruffles? I think not. For one, I don't have that many tentacles.

Yup. That pretty much fits the bill.

It might be because of the drinks I mix and my (in)famous newbyque sauce as much as for my dark and handsome good looks.

I found a rather large pile of drool outside that looks familiar. I'm sure Scruffles was tracking something/someone tasty. I never get in the way of his hunting and he's gotten a lot better at getting the viscera out of his fur.

Computers are nice. Make spelling gafs easier to spot, work storage is easier and more convenient.

But I think there's something immeasurably more satisfying in scrunching up a sheet of paper over highlighting and hitting delete.

I wish I had the money for a prime rib roast. I'd dry-age it in the fridge and have a great dinner party for my friends. Instead, I'm pretty sure I can make a festive bowl of ramen noodles.

I love ramen! There is a really yummy ramen place by me. I totally need it now too, because I'm sick and it would be perfect to make me feel better. :e2bummed:

I'm burnt out on tday food. But the leftovers were good while they lasted.

We spatchcocked ( sp?) our turkey this year. It was the best EVER. Totally doing that again. Tender and cooked quick.

Spatchcocked? It's basically butterflied. It looked funny, but tasted good.

I've mostly lost my voice now. Which makes yelling at children...fun. :tongue

It's the jalapenos. They're chock full of Vitamin C.

Nachos are just chips and cheese without jalapeños and pulled pork.

Or sometimes habaneros or ghost peppers - even Scots Bonnets.
