I always feel the MC is like me. But I guess that's normal.

Most of my MCs are teenagers/20-somethings that are wiser than their years or are tired with life. Before they go on and commit to some grand adventure, of course :p.

They're almost always outcasts or superhuman in some way.

I've noticed that I mostly write stereotypical bad*ssry when it comes to FMCs, snark-ridden attractive MMCs, and one of my supporting characters always seems to be the innocent one in a group of less-than-innocent wise*sses.

Yes, I'm constantly surprised. In fact, I was in a tough situation the other day and thought, "What would Devin do?" And I used his personality to help guide me through the situation. It's weird, and I'm kind of hoping I'm not the only writer who does that...

I do this, too! So you're not the only one.
