I am wondering what your take is on writing a chapter by chapter synopsis for an episodic children's novel? Writing a traditional synopsis makes the whole story seem disjointed, which it is, but it's meant to be that way. It's a book that follows the adventures of a class of seven students and their two teachers. Sort of like a cross between a Louis Sachar Wayside book and a Magic School Bus book, just longer.
How do you think agents will take to a synopsis in this form? I am concerned about not having it in a traditional format, but I am also concerned that a traditional format will be confusing.
