How does one act like a flower, exactly?

Bees are definitely among the most underrated animals.

Hey, it's your story, Soapy. You do the writing. :tongue

... I should get some of that done too, but my brain has been mush, lately. Hard to focus on anything beyond the bare minimum to keep the kidlets functioning. Blergh.

Hmmm, 125 page views for my blog today (622 a few days ago).

Maybe I shouldn't have stuck my hand in that hornet's nest.

:)

Gotta' get some book covers up on that blog one of these days if I can figure out how (posting images is easy in a post, on the front page not so much). May need a design change...

Attack of the B-Girls?
B-Girl From the Black Lagoon?
Revenge of the B-Girls?
Night of the B-Girls?
The Giant B-Girl Invasion?

'cause, ya' know, all bees are girls.

I could go on, but the girls would start throwing me out of windows and hitting me with shattering glass objects or subjecting me to cruel and inhumane taunts and such (not that they will refrain from doing that anyway).

:)

Bos, DL said to say "Hello." She'll check in whenever she gets the chance away from all her more mundane wordly activities. One assumes she'll also come come bearing claws, fangs, whips, and chains to bring the rest of the Houds backinto orderliness (as if).

Gave my blog a little makeover today (really, about the only one it's had since I started it in 2008).

You can visit "The Rumor Mill" at,

http://fotsblog.blogspot.com/

Tell me what you think, please. I'll like replace that background image within the next few days with something that fits the page a little better.

I really like it, but some of those lights in the background block out the white type.

I need to make mine over. Right now I'm getting about 880 hits a month.

By my calculations, for most of the past 7 years my blog was getting about 60, yes I said 60, page views a month. So, 880/month is quite respectable in my eyes.

This month I've already hit 10 times my normal/average number of page views. I just have to somehow keep the traffic going and even then I doubt I'll hit your average, Ted.

Oh, and according to Haggis (and me), the bar has free Lagavulin whiskey shots tonight.

I have committed blog once again.

Read my opinion(s), such as they are, on "The Great Hugo Dust-Up, Part 3" at my blog, The Rumor Mill,

http://fotsblog.blogspot.com/

There will be at least a Part 4 to this ongoing storm of controversy after a post by someone on the other side that I read today (a Big Name). Stay tuned...

It's actually a horror story in a way which why I feel free to, um, "advertise" it here.

Plus, it's kinda' fun. Three posts this month after months off and the site is getting traffic.

Mods, lemme' know if it's not appropriate.

I expect this year's fracas over the Hugos will come back to bite the instigators in the backside. This kind of thing doesn't earn support. (Even if they had a valid cause. Which they don't.)

:hi: Hounds.

I have some free time, tonight. Which means I should write.

Which means I'll just spend all the free time on here. :tongue
