*Pretends hearing this doesn't still make her bounce around*
I'll make some English desserts.
Savoury dishes are just foul, but dessert. Oh, we can do dessert *slurp!*I always assumed English cooking was an oxymoron.
No fancy food for me tonight. We're having the classic Hillbilly Feast.
Just saw this. This kind of thing is why I rarely leave the Cantina. Pakistani's aren't evil, and they have like *the best* food ever. I challenge anyone to eat nihari and seekh kebab and naan and still say Pakistani's are evil.
*judges all people by their food*
So,.... the woods are 'possum free tonight?
And hate it? Pfft. Good food is good food, period. Regardless of whether it's cuisine or just grub.
Try pinto bean soup, cooked with bacon (not ham! Too salty), potatoes fried with burdock and ramps, brine onions, buttermilk cornbread with cracklings....
No, the 'possums are safe; nasty land carp! However, my back field has been picked clean of burdock and ramps!

sigh. Life is good.
Sorry, I missed this.
Go Tiff!
I suggest an international cook-in. You can all make some local dishes. I'll make some English desserts. Hubby will make Pakistani food. We can have a feast
Also, I just finished it and
*begins planning culinary Cantina-ite road trip*
I'm so hungry now.
I'm so hungry now.
Ditto.
Only I'm way too tired to properly cook.
*ponders leftovers and frozen edibles*
I probably shouldn't mention the banana-nutella cake I'm baking tomorrow then, eh?

I made orange-cranberry bread this morning.
That was the extent of my cooking for the day.
I made oatmeal. But it was the 5 minute kind, not the 1 minute variety, so it totally counts as cooking.
Also, hand over the bread and no one gets hurt.
I can share, but some of it has already been consumed. It was my breakfast, after all.
