E-Books: Are chapter hyperlinks Important?

All the ebooks I've read have them. I don't necessarily use them, but they are there.

Because that seemed to be the 'standard' I have them in my book. I didn't put them in, because I couldn't get them to work right, so a friend did it for me. If you are unsure of how to get them to work properly, ask a friend that may be handy with Word, or whatever program you use and see if they would make them for you.

I rarely use them myself but I always expect them to be present. It's just something that makes the ebook feel more professional and polished. If your book is big, then it's even more necessary and expected.

All it requires is time, if you want the book to be the best it can, why not do it?
