Wellington arrived in Brussels at the beginning of April 1815. I would have thought there would be quite a fuss about the place where he stayed. (We seem to know every place Napoleon stopped for lunch.) But I can't find anything on line, in Longford's classic biography or even the Duke's own despatches. Does anyone know where he stayed?

When in doubt, try Google Books.

On April 5 the Duke of Wellington came post-haste from Vienna, and went to live in a house next door to the Hotel de France, at the corner of the Rue de la Montagne du Pare [Parc?] and the Rue Royale.
--Belgium, George William Thomson Omond, 1908

You can find the same street named as the location of Wellington's house in post-Waterloo accounts, but the above gives the most precise info.
