whatever
does
entirely extend
in grey
..........-a crowd
...........of banked clouds-
lies
in the mind
commanding
of fishing boats

the grey Puget
running again
to the sea

a creep
of grey shadows
nightly bound.

and rocks
swimming the broken shore
with faces
grey in the wind
waves weeping
in cold winter
light licking
the little streams
of sun
passing between
one cloud
and another.

and the bird scene.....seen
winging
a spread wing
in the grey smoke

is not the same
as it once was
dark
against the brightness
of a sun.

and drifts
to the shore
the drifting.....wood
where I
perceive the scent
of orient
upon it

the belly
of a Buddha
laughing aloud.

and then
with some greyness
mood itself
inters my self id,...it, him
inters a fog shadow
where high cliffs
watch the waves
lean
in the sea-born
light.

stained-glass blue
through wind
and lesser grey

where beaches of clouds
disguise

sand and shell
in a glory of grey

I'm very glad you posted it out here where other folks who don't necessarily comment will have an opportunity to read it without the need to get behind the password wall.
