Thank God almighty, I'm free at last.

I'm posting here, rather than Office Party, because it is an accomplishment.

As of today, I'm retired from the tax business. Still some pesky extensions hanging around, but I'll get those done in the next week or so. I've been doing this work for 41 years, and it is time to hang up my abacus.

Read more than I already do. Have marathon DVD viewings of shows I'm not caught up on. Crochet more. We plan to do a little traveling. I have massive decluttering to do in a house I inherited, before I can put it up for sale. Massive decluttering of my office.

Somehow I don't think I will get bored!

Wow, congratulations! My dad is a CPA that has had many, many late nights this season (as every tax season), and I can well imagine the relief you feel!
