*sigh*

I wish. I haven't been in a LONG time.

*remembers Cedar Point Roller Coaster Park fondly*

I've been dying to go to Ceder Point since i found out about it 6 years ago!!!! Was it awesome!? I'm a roller coaster addict. Been going on them since i was 5 and never looked back. Sadly I've pretty much lost the ability to scream on them. Cant find ones that are thrilling anymore. The ones in Universal Studios were the last time I screamed on a roller coaster.

I haven't been to Cedar Point in decades, but now that my little one has discovered roller coasters, we'll be going some time either this summer or next. I know it's changed a lot since the last time I was there, but they have quite a few coasters, and still have a good reputation.

:D

Thankfully my son's troop doesn't sport the scarf.
Phew!

Yep. I was just at a Boy Scout dinner and awards ceremony the other day. The kids look cute in their uniforms. The grown men? Not so much *grin*

I know right!

Grown men in scout uniforms. They're kinda... creepy

I remember the lines being long on some of them. Hope she has patience.

Boy Scouts is serious business in my area. I live in a tiny village, but we have a boy scout museum. Something to do with being Troop 1, I think.

No scarves???

But, but how can they experience the stigmatizing trauma that comes from dressing like a long-lost Rough Rider (without the cool Teddy Roosevelt mustache), without the scarf?

Sorry, might be dealing with some long-repressed inner issues here.

Key is to get there early. Like drive up the night before, early. And then, yeah, lines. I don't think we're doing it this year, as if she's tall enough she'll only just be tall enough, and I have bad memories of what that's like.

Maybe in another year or two, though.

Morning, Dan.

Hey, you write anything for the Western contest? I'm trying to put the finishing touches on my entry this morning.

Wow, that's interesting. Didn't know they had a museum.

Yes, no scarves.

It cuts down on my son's shrink bill. (Kidnings)

Is that like patient zero? :D

Nope. I haven't written anything in awhile now. Glad to hear that you've got something for it. :D

Bolos, then, or has there been sufficient change in the dress code for Scouts since I was one that you don't need either of those?

(What level is your boy at, btw?)

:)

Neck attire is optional

he's a 2nd class.
