Over in Office Party, they're talking about Wisdom Teeth.

The whole having-them-pulled thing is a right-of-passage I'll never have. I'm glad about that, actually...

Stormy here tonight. At least the plants are getting watered!

I never developed wisdom teeth. One good gene, ftw. :)

I think I told you all this, but here's a repeat. Both my daughters are getting married this summer. I knew my younger was getting married, but this weekend my elder daughter informed me that she was jumping the broom, too. I'm a little freaked out, but I'm hoping for the best.

And last night, my younger daughter got a very nice offer: a professional photographer here offered her an internship. To make things even sweeter, the pro photographer is also hearing impaired, so there won't be any serious communications issues. The money won't be great (practically nonexistent), but the education she'll get will be priceless.

Okay I have gone to the evil side and it all started with a link to some great steampunk styled wedding rings.

B and I will be getting married sometime maybe this year. However it is going to be an elopment. But to satisfy our families, we have to have a reception kind of thingie.

I'm wanting a steampunk theme... which is going to completely scandalize the brains of my oh so conservative and narrow minded family. I figured that they think I'm weird so why not cross into the WTF category.

(is feeling very cruel right now in a very self satisfied way)

= :D

Congrats, both of you. It's nice to hear happy stuff. And Shadowflame, that sounds like the best reception ever. You should definitely do it.

I never developed wisdom teeth. One good gene, ftw. :)

my mouth was just big enough for mine. They're all there, no surgery needed. On the other hand, when I tell people that, I get the big mouth jokes, but I'm pretty sure I'll survive.

Every now and then, when I'm cramming all these words in my head, I am struck by how amazing the human body is. Seriously, how does it come up with this shiz? It's like: You're going to do A to interrupt my processes? Well AH-HA! I have this intrinsically thought out process with tens of checks and balances that works better than anything sentience will come up with for about 500 years!

Just. Amazing.

I got my wisdom teeth, but had to get them pulled because of cavities, not as some 'rite of passage' :p Plenty of people do have to get them pulled because of impaction, weird roots, mouth size issues, etc., but I'm of the opinion of hey, if you have 'em grow in normally, they fit your mouth, and you can keep 'em clean, no need to pull.

My brother got his sealed so he still has 'em. Lucky so-and-so.

Theres usually cake and random happy posts at the milestones.

Then the cake ate Kenny. You Bastards!

;)

I am sad that I seem to be exhausting markets for a little fave story of mine :(

Awww. My fav little story is trunked due to a fatal flaw at the end.

OMG. Why did I click on the site with the pictures of that face-eating victim?

Want. *goes to search PCE*

Ditto with me. I also ended up never developing bottom 12-year molars, but I've never had any problems not having them.

Interesting! I had a similar issue. I developed one of my bottom 12-year molars, but not the other. But I got both of the top ones. Weird teeth are weird.

Can't I have a lot of the peril?

I survived vet school. Morbid and hideous are medically intriguing.

Oh wow. That barely looks real. And I thought this was a flesh eating bacteria on the face, not an attack, let alone an attack by another human.

I tried to zoom in but couldnt. Maybe I should start writing horor.

There's dissection, then there's half eaten faces.

I spent a lot of time around cadavers and faces with the skin pulled back and bits cut out last year. I'm not going aaaaaaaaaaaanywhere near those pictures.

They aren't that bad if you were expecting flesh eating bacteria. I could go find some of those for everyone.

*dodges storm of smibbles and dongs* okay, okay. I'll skip that then.

Huh! That's kinda cool, though. I've not met anyone with a similar genetic... well not glitch, per se...

I like my weird teeth. :D
