I haven't had any braggage lately, but my mom has! Here's a link to my post in the Animals and Nature thread about the 35k non-fiction book my 95-year old mom had published earlier this year. (I was a second marriage kid, so not quite as old as this makes me sound :))

I read that post. What a great story, Eliza! So happy for your mom.

After winning the previous Shock Totem flash fiction contest, I learned today that I won this month's as well! Surreal. It's been an eerily quiet May, so that good news was welcomed.

I have a week's worth of braggage which I'll just cram into one post:

A romance story of mine is out in this week's (the June 3rd issue) Woman's World magazine.

My story that won the James White Award is out in the May-June issue of Interzone.

A blog post I wrote about writing what you love is up at Penumbra's website.

And I've also been writing more, which I'm also proud of :).

Wow, I was just on this thread two days ago, and look how much braggage has already been posted since then! That's great! (Melinda, I enjoyed Blooming Hedgehog.)

This one's a bit different than some of what I write, but I had a piece accepted you can check out at Hobo Pancakes that I didn't think would ever find a home. Mostly because it's sodomy humor. Certainly not erotica, just adult subject matter.

This would be my first W1S1 that's been accepted, with editing help from a fellow AWer JoBird. It made for a pretty awesome day.

Awesome, Project Dee! Glad to hear it. It was a good story!

Congrats, bpreslar. I don't know how hard sodomy stories are to sell, but I imagine the obstacles would be great!
