I finally got around to signing up here after abundant encouragement to do so. I'm a husband, dad and author. I'm looking forward to visiting the forums and networking. I enjoy meaningless conversation, so go ahead, ask me anything.

Okay, something for Easter: If a bunny and a half left an egg and a half in the next day and a half, how much would a pound of chocolate weigh?

Even if you're stumped, :welcome:!

Welcome. I only enjoy certain types of meaningless conversation (like a long discussion on some weird idea that has no practical significance). Small talk...not so much.

Why are the planets round?
The boring answer is that gravity causes anything too large to fall, creating a spherical shape to objects with enough mass.
The complicated answer is that the planets were all worn down that way after washing down the river of the space-time continuum.
Or perhaps the square ones are just shy and hide from us.

Another question... why doesn't waffle house offer pancakes? Ihop has waffles.

Are you sure, Jerri? I would think IHOP would take us back to bunnies, chocolate or whatever.

Yup, you're a sci-fi guy, Walker. :foilhat: Your whimsical theory would be fun, if the world weren't absolutely flat.
