P.H.Q. - Acronym for PolyHydroxilQuinazoline. P.H.Q. is a chemical produced in the nasal membranes of the nose. It forms long, naturally lubricated, polymer chains. It is odourless and has a yellow - green colour. It has been observed that is produced in huge volumes by babies. Scientists have yet to determine it's actual function, but anecdotal evidence suggests it is a form of adhesive used to stick food, clothing and small animals to infants.
