It seeps through my fingers
To hold in life
To hold out death
I try
Form of my body, fleeing
From the world I have known.

Sound of an explosion, yelling
Echoes in the tunnel
Echoes across ages
I fall
Black void ceases me
Balks at my attempt to remain.
