I thought things like that only happened to me.:D

Will you be able to get the back issues, Gail?

 Maybe you'd win on the days you didn't check the numbers?

I've asked for back issues (or pdf's as there are illustrations I'd like to see) but I haven't heard yet.

I spoke to Alison (mother of the little girl who passed), she sounds like she's dealing as best as can be expected. She said it hasnt sunk in yet. Jas's funeral is tomorrow.

It makes me feel better knowing Al is coping as best she can, as best as she knows how. Tomorrow will probably be a different stry, but she wont be alone.

No mother should ever have to go through that. :( The fact that her daughter's suffering has ended might be some comfort - but not a lot. Sad time.

I agree, I dont think there would be anything able to ease the pain of the loss of a child.

Blake's scans are in 4 weeks and I cant help but think, will I be going through what Al is going through?

Stay strong, French. You've come this far, and you have all of us praying that Blake's scans are clear.:Hug2:

I'm feeling tired already and it's still mid morning. I really can't afford to be. Ugh.

:Hug2:'s Silver. It will get better.

So, I've decided that the summer will be spent extensively researching and outlining for the WIP that's on the backburner. Got some good advice in SYW and I'm going to keep that in mind for the summer. Just need to get my current WIP done by then.

It's school vacation week, and my daughter has gone to stay with my parents for a couple of days.

On the one hand, it's so quiet here! :hooray:

On the other hand, it's so quiet here!

My husband made a chocolate pudding cake in a cast-iron skillet. I think I will go and eat it.

Ugh. I still have work to do but I'm also starting to get tired. Ugh....

My mom always says at times like this - make a list of what absolutely MUST get done. Not "should," but MUST. Then do that, and worry about the rest when you have more strength.

Hang in there.

So yesterday I got to write "Requested material" in an email to an agent! Yay! I was tired of getting rejected...

But the boy is home with the stomach flu. :(

On the other hand, it's so quiet here!

Ah, the dilemma of the mama. :) Enjoy it!

Hmm...I think its gonna be one of those days for me. I got muddled up between Picasso and Shakespere in a conversation that somehow came about.

It's only Wednesday...why is my brain fried already?

Congrats HJ! Hope the boy feels better soon. I'm the last man standing in my office (so to speak) who hasn't gotten the stomach bug. I've been holed up in my office with the door shut, surrounded by Purell.

French - I pray Blake's scans go well. I'm in a group of moms who have kids with the same heart defect, and we've lost a few children in the past year. It's an awful feeling - to grieve with someone and at the same time wonder if your child is next.

Silver - I think Lizmonster has some great advice. :Hug2:

Congrats HJ - hope the boy child is better.

Liz - eat the pudding, show it no mercy!

Mr Mitchell - what OSG said!

Yesterday was a no cook day! I achieved a hat trick - had breakfast, lunch and supper at various local places. It was a good day!
