What did you retire from? How old were you? The thing that most hold me back is that I won't be eligible for Medicare for another year and few months.

I worked in IT for more than 25 years then gave up the day job ( not retired, just quit ) at 49. Left the lovely NHS in Scotland, but moved to Canada so Medicare isn't a problem. Work pensions will kick in in three and a bit years time now, which will be nice.
