My latest novella, provisionally titled TORMENTOR has been accepted by DarkFuse.

Set in a lochside cottage on the Isle of Skye in Scotland, this one has several ghosts, some drinking, some Scottish history, some Spaniards, a lot of mackerel, a castle, several public bars, a faerie flag, some singing, some drumming and a lot of spooky stuff. And more drinking.

This almost counts as a sale... My short story "The Man With the White Face" has been picked up by PopcornHorror.com Part 1 will debut on Tuesday. You can read the story in its entirety on my website.

I hope you guys like it! It's dark psychological fiction based on an Urban Legend from my youth.

Thanks
Micah

Congrats, everybody. Willie, you're on a tear! I finished The Hole last week and enjoyed it quite a bit.

I sold my first horror story, and the first story I've gotten published out of my niche market.

"The Monster Next Door", in the next volume of Shroud quarterly.

Five stories from my collection THE QUALITY OF MERCY AND OTHER STORIES received Honorable Mentions from Ellen Datlow in her Year's Best anthology list. Which is nice.

Got six mentions in all, the other being for TRUTH DECAY which appeared in the Australian antho A KILLER AMONG DEMONS

Congrats Willie! That is a great accomplishment, although I'm not surprised. You're a very talented writer and I enjoy your work a great deal.
