Opinion on naming/numbering chapters

That's what I did at first. I changed only because every editor I wrote for griped about it.

I thought using all-caps was the industry standard. If not, how are you supposed to format chapter headings?

That's the screenwriting standard, and sometimes the synopsis standard. Just write it the way you want it to appear. There's nothing in a novel that should be all caps.

I don't care.

Parts/Scenes names are the only ones I really care to look at.

I've never cared about how to number chapters but I do like chapter titles.
