Or high carbon steel and quartz.

That's interesting. I just looked up to find out what elements are in quartz and found out that flint is a kind of quartz.

Not such a weird internet search as "cannibalism in squirrels" though...

"Winter bag colors"...I think I was looking for a gift, but it sounds like something a drunk would type.

Are writers assholes?

According to Google, the verdict is in. Try it for yourself. ;)

People in my area were disappointed about twenty years ago, for example, when it was discovered that squirrels in their area had a communicable one, so squirrel brains were no longer safe to eat.

I am watching Andrew Zimmern on The Travel Channel, and the next segment is about sucking squirrel brains. YAY ANDREW I love that man.

Extreme hunger has a way of changing people's opinions about that kind of thing.

Well, I'd hope so, otherwise it is even worse.

But I'm sure for every person who has eaten someone to keep alive, there are probably several people who just died. I don't think cannibalism is the go to mood for people suffering from extreme hunger.

The video of dudes testing viking era weapons on a pig carcass might need some 'splaining if my wife/boss/co-workers dredged it out of my browser history.

It does? Cause I've watched videos of them testing neanderthal and Homo sapiens weapons the same way. Didn't even occur to me that people might find that as weird... guess that makes me double weird.

Only thing I thought of from that was how one study into a wound on a neanderthal skeleton's ribs concluded that because it was consistent with a stone-tipped spear being thrown at him, he must have been killed by a Homo sapiens, even though he lived about 30,000 years too early to have ever met a Homo sapiens. Just because neanderthals didn't make purpose built throwing spears doesn't mean they didn't occasionally throw thrusting spears or other stone tools at each other.

I googled Mamamia.

That's disturbing just to think about.

Okay, I've tried and tried but every time I google "Mamamia," all I can find is information on the Broadway musical "Mamma Mia." I even tried looking on Wikipedia to no avail. What is "Mamamia?"

You mean you searched for something so bizarre that the internet doesn't yet have a page for it?

That is quite an achievement.

How to seduce a sofa with a viking helmet worn at a jaunty angle.

No results.

(There will be now)

Out of curiosity, who's wearing the Viking helmet at a jaunty angle and where are they wearing it? :D

I do have to doubt the "No Results" thing, though, because of Rule 34.

I just googled "is it acceptable to kill children in novels".

At the library.

I still don't have my answer, but I'm pretty sure it's only a matter of time until I'm thrown out of here.
