I just signed a contract with Samhain for my contemporary erotic romance, Ebony Nights: Advertising for Love.
I finally get to post here!
I just signed a contract with Samhain for my contemporary erotic romance, Ebony Nights: Advertising for Love. It's the first in a series that centers around a male escort agency that specializes in men of color and the women who hire their . . . ahem . . . services.
The release date is December!

Just received word that Siren has contracted my latest novella. Three day turnaround. That made me very happy, and my ego sure needed it right now.
Keeping low profile on it, but I have left my agent. She's a nice lady, but after almost three years, things just weren't working out as I'd hoped. It was a scary choice to brave the publishing world alone again, although in my heart I knew it was the right thing for me.
So now I'm querying a very small number of agents with a new futuristic romance series and have submitted it to a couple of publishers. I also started writing a new urban fantasy romance series. Trying to keep busy!
Awesome news about your contract! Congrats!
Not so awesome about your agent. Change is hard. I hope it all works out for the best.
Yay about the Siren acceptance.
That's too bad about your agent, but at least you knew when to walk away. Good luck with the subs of new material.
Great about the Siren deal, Shameless--those are great ego-boosters. Don't feel bad about the agent thing--I had to walk away from my second one after three years. Found another one easily enough.

Congrats on the deal and good luck with the new agent search - that must have been a hard decision!
