Twisted short story (dark comedy/drama)

I'm looking for a handful of beta readers to give me feedback on a twisted short story I have written. If you are a fan of Roald Dahl's twisted short stories like Kiss Kiss and Lamb to the slaughter and other stories you'll probably have a greater appreciation for this kind of dark drama.

The story is told from the perspective of an elderly man who is on his deathbed, who makes a shocking confession to his grandson about what happened one fateful night to his evil elementary school teacher when she made the whole class sit detention.

The story is 11 thousand words (approx). I'm looking for gut reactions, obvious mistakes, non-American English usage, and general suggestions.

Turnaround time I'm hoping for is a couple of weeks so I can get the story off to the editor in the New Year.

New year and new Betas

Hey everybody. I'm still looking for a few extra beta readers for this story. So far had great feedback from betas through another site. Book is off to the editor later this week so beta requirements are a little different.

I'm looking for people to proofread, spot any glaring mistakes , or any story elements that won't require major blunt dissection at this stage.
It's only 12k words which should be à 30 to 45 min read. Hoping for a turnaround of about a week.
