Nominated for a prize based on my odd book title

Longtime reader, infrequent poster as I've been busy to the point of comic absurdity. Last year I published my first book - Divorcing a Real Witch - and got all distracted from it by two book contracts via a different publisher, plus a cross-country move from Minneapolis to San Francisco.

I found earlier this week that it is on the shortlist for the Diagram Oddest Book Title of the Year award. Final voting is open to the public.

Nepotism ftw!

Thanks for the well wishes all! As it turns out, I am the first runner up, my title taking 25.1% of the vote, while the winner, Strangers have the Best Candy, won with 26.1% of the vote.

Today is still a win for me. My title is still getting a mention in all of the press, I just had an anthology submission accepted today, and I got a PM on Twitter from my celebrity crush. I'm happy.
